My training and experience as both a

Childbirth and Postpartum Doula

has prepared me to provide

support and guidance

throughout your pregnancy, birth

and postpartum journey.

As your Birth Doula, I provide informational, physical,

and emotional support to help you navigate the life-changing experience of having a baby.

The choice is yours, and my basic birth package may be the best option for you, but I strongly encourage you to consider one of my packages that includes both childbirth and postpartum support.

The support and guidance that I offer prenatally and during the often neglected "Fourth Trimester" can be

just as important as my presence on the big day.

The value of a doula's presence for birth is well-documented.

Benefits can include: shorter labors, fewer medical interventions and complications, and overall increased satisfaction with the birth experience.

Cultures around the world, other countries and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists also recognize that "the weeks following birth are a critical period for a woman and her infant, setting the stage for long-term health and well-being", and that ongoing postpartum care plays an important role to "optimize the health of women

and infants".  *ACOG Committee Opinion 736, May 2018

A postpartum doula can contribute to a smoother transition for new parents, & siblings, increased breastfeeding success & satisfaction, improved postpartum mental health, and enhanced confidence for new parents.

My in-home postpartum support meets the unique needs of your family and helps smooth the transition to parenthood.

It varies from family-to-family and day-to-day, but it can include:

  • emotional & physical self-care for mother,

  • guidance regarding all aspects of baby care and feeding,

  • breastfeeding or bottle-feeding support,

  • new baby-related household organization,

  • light food preparation

  • laundry, grocery shopping, tidying

  • assisting family members’ adjustment to new baby

  • resources and referrals

Please contact me to set up a complimentary meeting to learn more about the services I provide, scheduling, & fees. This will also be an opportunity to see if I will be a good fit for you and your family
